3 Inspector Generals Fired After Investigating Some of Obama's Personal Interest Organizations

Obama made a lot of promises while campaigning around the country last year.

However, it seems like many of these promises, including government transparency, had expiration dates. In the last 2 weeks, President Obama has fired 3 Inspector Generals each of which were preparing investigations into Obama's good friends' organizations.

Gerald Walpin was released last week after questioning the largest and most expensive AmeriCorps program and the possible misuse of its tax-payer subsidized funds. Walpin's audit -- which can be found online at www.cncsig.gov/AuditReports.html -- uncovered a multitude of grant violations, including criminal background check lapses and "pervasive problems of eligibility, timekeeping and documentation." This program is chaired by Democratic mega-fundraiser Alan Solomon.

The second program Walpin challenged is the nonprofit St. HOPE Academy, run by Obama supporter Kevin Johnson, the Democratic mayor of Sacramento. He was accused of exploiting nearly $900,000 in AmeriCorps funding for personal gain. If government transparency is so important to Obama, why did he fire the man who exposed crimes against tax payers?
