I feel sick at my stomach that not only did Congress force this poisonous bill down our throats, but they did it against the clearly established Wishes of the American people. Congress was very excited last night when it imposed its will on us. Well we’ll see how excited they are when the majority imposes its will on them come November.
It is shocking to think about. But Democrats Nancy Pelosi and President Barak Obama just passed a health care bill that sticks 159 federal boards and agencies between you and your doctor and insurer, that forces you to buy insurance as a condition of citizenship, that dictates what that insurance will cover, whether you need it or not; and that requires 16,500 new IRS agents as enforcers.
Happy Monday, America . . . do you feel healthier yet?
At last count, 38 states have decided to file lawsuits claiming that the government forcing citizens to purchase healthcare is unconstitutional. What’s most outrageous about this situation is the idea that Americans should ever be forced to beg the Court to save the Constitution from their own elected representatives.
Remember, when you hear a politician say that ‘the Constitution is a living document,’ what that usually means is, to them, the Constitution should be a dead document. And if you trust it to them, it soon will be.
