Jesus, Glen Beck and Honor

Dear Friends,

See below regarding Glen Beck, David Barton, the multi-religious gathering in DC, and Beck's influence. In short, I believe Christians should appreciate Beck's political work of exposing Progressive Neo-Socialism. However, they should be wary of him spiritually. The event that took place Saturday 8/28/10 in Washington DC was unscriptural in my opinion, and is a dangerous development for Christians who participated.
I have been stirring about this for weeks. I said a 2 weeks ago to my wife that ...

"I'm trying really hard not to like Glenn Beck, But he is doing more to expose the liberal Left's agenda than anyone else in America. The only problem, it makes him the most dangerous man in America, because he cannot be trusted with this much influence."

This Tower of Babel could bring down the great work we are doing for the coming of a great Conservative Tsunami in November. These pastors participating should be warned, and we should get the word out to every Christian minister we can reach. I'm not sure about our political stumps, but from our Christian stumps we have a responsibility to warn and teach to our brothers, and to those who look to us for spiritual direction.

Regarding Beck, I believe he has been juggling universalism since he put his faith in the AA gods when he sobered up. He has literally been working out and exploring his own theology on live TV, and 3 things are obvious:

1. He is not a devout Mormon anymore, as he is in violation of many of their rules with this event. He has been liberated from their rules by justification of another theology.

2. Someone on a spiritual journey in a skeptical quest for truth, with millions of dollars pouring in, with the accolades of men in chorus around him, has no business leading millions in search for truth, an awakening or a Savior.

3. He is literally walking down the same path as Obama, and collecting the fodder along the ditch on the Right, opposite of the president. Just as he is claiming to be Mormon, but is not operating within their practices, so Obama is neither a genuine Christian or Muslim, as many suspect.

The UCC is one of the fastest growing denominations in the world. It is essentially Unitarianism, Universalism, etc. with a twist of Jesus. Obama considers himself Christian in the public spotlight because of this. Where they differ with the "Gospel of Inclusion", is the teaching that anyone from any faith can be and has already been saved by Christ on the cross. The UCC is open to members who are Muslim, Buddha, Hindu, whatever. According to them, everyone is saved by Christ regardless of their theology, and does not require confession, repentance, thanksgiving, faith, baptism or devotion.

This is where Beck is. This is where Pelosi is. Oprah. Countless high profile names. In fact, when I began warning people here about Carlton Pearson, I discovered that in 2006, the elections gave them 44 UCC members in Congress. Among them, Barack Obama (D-ILL).

We are in a unique time, and whether it be Leftists insisting on the religious freedom of the NYC mosques, or Pelosi "preaching" the "word", or Obama angering Jews and meeting with Muslims. Celebrating Ramadan but not recognizing the National Day of Prayer is disturbing. The Left has gone from censorship to intolerance. From intolerance to selective tolerance. From selective tolerance to religious preference.

Honor begins with doing the right thing, even when it is not convenient, so that we will not bring bring shame upon ourselves, our associates, our countrymen and our families. I will honor my Father in Heaven, and risk offending mortal men, that I may never offend the Holy Spirit or invoke His wrath.

I have come across several scriptures (see below) that directly forbid this event in general, of Christians coming together with cults (Beck - "Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, Shamen, Monks, and Imams") and professing to be praying to the same God. This event is what many theologians would describe as a "Sacred Assembly", as in Joel and even more relevant because one of those "Christian Leaders" referred to him as "a Jehoshaphat" as referred to in 2 Chronicles (chapter 20). More recently and relevant to an actual modern SA would be Acts 2. All have a common theme and purpose:

Coming together as one people to pray to God, asking for a mass delivery from opposition, salvation and restoration, or what direction from the Holy Spirit to take in troubled or confusing times, a call for revelation and a leading of the way to miracles and provision. In all cases, these SA's were initiated by God. "Go, wait, pray. I will send."

In Joel and 2 Chron., we saw God use priests in a prophetic role with instruction requiring faith and total submission to be delivered. In Acts, God did a new thing. While the physical salvation of His people was not guaranteed (His people had received eternal security) the great exploits of the Kingdom were carried out by them.

3 main factors here:

1. Has God called this assembly? (No.)
If not, was it blessed? ( No. )
Who called it? (Man.)
Who was the "high priest"? (Beck was, and delivered a "message", not a speech. He preached a sermon as the headliner)

2. Were all of these SA's in the Bible ordered to include every people, every religion? (No. )
We know Ammonites and Moabites were not invited to come pray to their gods with Jehoshaphat. Romans were not invited in Acts to join the disciples and pray to Zeus and Apollo, nor were the Pharisees for that matter. In fact, there was much worship involved in all three that ushered in His presence before the revelation came.

Imagine what God's reaction would have been (or the fate of His people) had they expanded the guest list and watered down the agenda to fit their religions. Even better, what if a Pharisee called for a SA and invited Jews, Disciples, Romans who worship Greek gods,etc. and said, "Lets all pray together!"

3. The Founding Fathers were not inspired and activated by a SA, but instead over years of spiritual growth during the Great Awakening. This revival was established through evangelism...CHRISTIAN EVANGELISM, most notably by the Westley brothers. The GA inspired first, a mass number of conversions to Christianity and re-dedications. Then, after finding liberty through worship in Spirit and Truth, they identified their oppression in government... and were ready and rooted in Christianity to handle and carry out the Revolution.

If I join with 10 other religions and pray "as one" for restoration, and they don't know Jesus, can they agree in faith with me?

If I pray in the name of Jesus, but the others believe that Jesus "is a was", or a prophet, or the devil's brother, or a philosopher, etc. are we praying in agreement?

If the others pray to idols, am I to bow my head and say, "Amen" to believe in agreement with them?

How can I do any of these things and accomplish the goal?

Or even better, HOW may I maintain my witness to them that they must receive salvation from the true Christ of the Bilble, according to His Word, by recognizing Him as the One and only True Way to God, and that He and His Word are One....
if I have already agreed with them that they are praying to my God with me, and He will hear and answer their prayers?
If I proclaim they are eternally sound, and we are all one, (especially if I know they are not saved with us) am I jeopardizing their eternity?
If they are not "of us", yet we worship together, are we really "of them"?

Mr. Barton used this scripture when justifying his fellowship with Beck's magnetism:
"For he that is not against us is on our part." (Mark 9:40)

Very similar with this scripture:
He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (Luke 11:23)

In order to refrain from being against the Lord, you must be be WITH Him. In order to be With Him, you must GATHER. How does one Gather to the Lord without the TRUTH of the Word? We must remember that it is His Kingdom, His Vineyard. We can only Gather HIS WAY!

How do we Gather His way? Romans 1:16 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

If the purpose of the Gathering is to eternally reconcile men with Him, and the ONE AND ONLY JESUS is the ONLY way to eternal reconciliation, and Jesus is the Word, you MUST Gather to Him with the Truth. And according to Jesus, if you do not GATHERS WITH HIM (His way) you are against Him, and you are scattering!!!

Of course, we must also remember that Obama, Beck, Mormons, JW's, and other cult members believe they are saved by "a jesus". But their jesus is not the same as our Jesus. They deny that our Jesus' teachings are correct, and determine their own theology (that conflicts with His teachings). They have essentially created a god in their own image.

When my father went to Vietnam, they asked him what religion he was, so they could mark his dogtags. They do this so that they can determine how the chaplain can minister with you if you are mortally wounded. His mother was Baptist, and so were many of his friends from "back home in Lubbock Texas". He himself was not a practicing Christian, and certainly was not a practicing Baptist. However, it was what he identified himself as. I thank God that my father survived Vietnam for 38 years, and that he was able to receive Jesus on his death bed before he withered away from the cancer that he brought back from the war, disguised as a "harmless chemical called Agent Orange".

As I pointed out before, Beck says he's a Mormon, but he is not. When asked, he was not a "practicing member", but knew he was a "believer" in a faith, and Mormonism is what he identified with.

Same with Obama. He identifies with "Christianity" because he read the label that was on Rev. Wright's church. The UCC is anything but a Christian denomination, as they do not believe that you must believe, repent, confess in faith that Christ is Lord of your life in order to be saved.

Not all of the above. Not any of the above. They teach none of these as conditions as salvation's truths.

Instead, they teach that any religion is welcome there among them, because they are all praying to the same god. That we were all saved by Jesus whether we like it or admit it, or accept it. That when He died on the cross, every man (past, present and future) was saved and reconciled to God. The UCC and other Unitarian, Universalist churches teaching the "Gospel of Inclusion" are not merely a cop-out shelter house club for wayward former members of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or other cults to come renew themselves in their respective faiths. They are actually the fastest growing religion in the USA, teaching an anti-Christ doctrine that this "gospel" is a higher law that does not compete with these various religions... but completes them.

In fact, disgraced Tulsa pastor, Carlton Pearson, changed the doctrine in what was once on of the largest apostolic mega-churches in the country. It was transformed from a charismatic Christian family church that mentored many pastors (Michael Pitts- Toledo), evangelists, musicians (Carmen Ministries) and satellite churches in Africa an Europe. I attended some Azusa meetings that he organized, featuring TD Jakes, Miles Monroe, Juanita Bynum, etc. and watched the whole thing slowly change. Honestly, the only one who broke fellowship and made a public statement renouncing his ministry's direction was Carmen and Michael Pitts (who is one of my favorite pastors to watch online). He was barred from the ORU board or regents, and was visited by Billy Joe Daughtery, the Roberts family, Kenneth Hagan, Marilyn Hickey and many others who attempted to counsel him and warn him of his apostasy. He turned them all away, and announced that he was about to release a new book entitled, "God is Not a Christian".

I think it is interesting that Pearson is now a member of Obama's board of clergymen. And that Obama belongs to a denomination of Universalism that heaps up and appeals to millions on the Left who are not grounded in their faith. And now Beck and a few others are heaping up and appealing to those on the Right. And that Pelosi has become spiritual, and while claiming Catholicism, is professing a different faith's "truths". How can two different political philosophies be housed by the same faith? If there are no absolute truths, conditions or moral foundations, are they not both without a solid ground? Two polarized demographics being deceived by the devil. That is the genius of Satan, the father of lies. And the reward for both the left and right ditch leaders is iconic status and wealth. History and power.

Many in the political realm are teaching and asserting these beliefs on the American people, regardless of the various religions that they respectively identify with and claim. It actually conflicts with what they are taught in their traditional faiths. This faith that Beck has received as he stumbles around in the dark looking for answers, is not to be preached to our people, or to the lost. I am not afraid of those he influences running to the Mormon temple. I am more worried about those who run from it along with the wayward and lost to this new shelter house of cards. It counters Christianity, and some undeniable facets of God, according to His Word:

He is a jealous God.

Jesus is the Only way.

We are to have no other gods before him.

Light and darkness shall have no fellowship with one another.

Evil companions corrupt good morals.

We shall not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

We are to be in the world, not of it.

We can go on and on, but most importantly, in Romans 1 Paul describes the answer to what Beck and America is longing for.

We should be quick to profess it, and to deny the counterfeit.

"I am NOT ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for It is the Power unto Salvation for All Who Believe!"

Beck - "We are all praying to the same God." LIE. -

(John 14:16) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(Ephesians 2:18) For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

(John 20:31) But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)

Since Jesus and God are One, those who deny that Jesus was God in the Flesh are not praying to the same God, nor do they receive salvation from the same (and ONLY) Jesus!

Beck - "Multiple faiths will gather and we will pray to God. Pastors, Imams, Rabbis..." LIE -

(Galatians 3:28 )There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

(Ephesians 2:18) for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. (Colossians 3:11)

Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them. (Rom. 16:17)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1)

How can we pray as one with other faiths and agree, saying Amen?

If we pray in the name of Jesus, and they do not receive Jesus as the Messiah and God in the Flesh, can we pray and agree as one?

If we pray a generic prayer and refrain from using the name of Jesus, or from offending other faiths with scriptural reference, do we worship Him in Spirit and Truth?

Beck - Regarding Obama's book and why the president's religion is a mystery to Americans, and his conversion to "christianity" (little c black liberation theology) - he knelt at the altar in "submission".
Beck pointed out in his opinion that submission is a trait of Islam, not christianity (little c). LIE. -

(2 Cor. 7:15) His affection abounds all the more toward you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.

(James 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
